Kim has trained and boarded all my dogs – a total of 4 dogs, all Newfoundlands. When boarding the dogs I trust her implicitly and know that they enjoy being there because not only do they wag their tails furiously when they see her, they run to her truck and jump right in! She is extremely knowledgeable, always generous with her advice if we’re having small issues with the dogs or any questions whatsoever. I am always confident when recommending her to friends and family and we all joke around that if one of the dogs is acting up that we’re going to send them to Kim to straighten them out. I have nothing but high praise for Kim and her abilities. Excellent, excellent trainer.

Grissom Search And Rescue Dog

Grissom was about 1 year old when he was rescued from a neglectful family who had tied him to a post in their basement because he chased their 2 and 4 year-old boys. He spent almost 10 months in that basement with little interaction or socialization and absolutely no training.

I rescued Grissom after testing him for search and rescue. He had a great deal of potential for search work. He had a sweet personality, no manners and lacked any kind of confidence.  I knew I needed a great trainer to help Grissom develop into a great working dog, so my first call was to Kim at Bone Jour Dog Training.

Kim has a wealth of knowledge and experience and has worked search dogs for over 20 years. After talking with her,  I drove to Canada from Ohio, USA and dropped Grissom off for a two week board and train program.

When I picked him up, he was a changed boy! He had good manners, was confident and happy. Kim knew just what to do to help Grissom become a happy dog, making me a very happy owner.  With a solid foundation of obedience, he is an awesome partner and a top notch Human Remains Detection Dog.

"Over the past 12 years Kim has helped us with the training of 4 pups, and coming to our home to give the rest of the family a tune up. With Kim's assistance our dogs are safer and we have a more organized home with well behaved socialized pets. We would highly recommend Kim and her training practice."

“When Buster and Lucy hear the words “we’re going to see Kim” they can’t jump into the car fast enough! She trains them in a way that they don’t even know they are being trained. Kim does a wonderful job with our beloved boxers.”

"I have known Kim Morley for the past 12 years.  She has helped with the training and boarding of my chocolate lab "Jersey".  I find Kim to be professional, hard working and dedicated to her business.  I always felt comfortable leaving my dog in her care and would highly recommend her services.  I look forward to continuing to work with her as I embark on adding a new puppy to my family this spring!!"

"My wife and I bought a puppy before we had kids. Sergeant was an energetic Pointer cross, and soon proved to be too much for us to handle. We contacted Kim at Bone Jour Dog Training Services, and sent Sarge away to the 10-day Board and Train program, or “Boot Camp” as we called it. The results were remarkable.

When we picked Sarge up, his behaviour was noticeably different. No jumping up... very calm. We also learned that we needed to be trained as much as the dog did. With Kim’s help, and with some hard work of our own, we had a dog who was a joy to own for almost 14 years. In that time many family, friends, and neighbours remarked on how incredibly well behaved Sergeant was.

He was a dog who was a joy to walk, NEVER jumped up on people, and NEVER got up on the furniture. He was a dog who could be around all kinds of people, from the very young to the very old, and could be counted on to be well behaved. Two years after putting Sarge down, when we decided to get another dog, our first call was to Bone Jour. Yours should be too."
